Selling with us

Throughout these terms and conditions “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Lacie Mai’s.
Throughout these terms and conditions “you” and “your” refers to customer supplying the items for sale.

  1. Clothing supplied by you, must meet a certain criterion. This must be; free from, pilling/bobbling, marks, stains, holes, pulls, flaws and defects.

  2. We do not accept clothing with festive or celebration motifs or fancy dress.

  3. Clothing supplied by you must be clean and freshly laundered.

  4. The selling price of items will be made at the discretion of Lacie Mai’s.

  5. Clothing received by us, from you can be sent to us via post, courier and drop off to Southampton. Costs incurred by you are your responsibility and not the responsibility of Lacie Mai’s.           

  6. Clothing meeting the above criteria and selected by us, will be sold by us on your behalf. You will receive 40% of the profit of each item.

  7. Clothing will be sold by Lacie Mai’s from various platforms, including but not limited to our company website and selling sites as well as markets and events. If a selling/trading fee is incurred this will be calculated accordingly and deducted from each of the items sold at each particular event.

  8. Clothing received by us, from you, that does not meet the above criteria can be arranged for collection by appointment only from Southampton. If you require these items to be posted back to you, any postage and packaging costs incurred will be paid by you. Items will not be retuned until postage and packaging costs has been paid in full.

  9. Clothing received by us, from you, that does not meet the above criteria, will need to be collected within 30 days of notification. After this time the clothing will be donated to a local charitable organisation of our choice.

  10. We aim to sell your items within a 12 month period.

  11. At the end of the 12 month selling period, all unsold clothing will be returned to yourself. We will request that all clothing is collected from Southampton at your earliest convenience. If any clothing is not collected within 30 days of notification, clothes will be donated to a local charitable organisation of our choice.       

  12. At the end of the 12 month selling period, all unsold clothing will be returned to yourself. If you require these items to be posted back to you, any postage and packaging costs incurred will be paid by you. Items will not be returned until postage and packaging costs has been paid in full.

  13. Once the terms and conditions have been signed, you will be unable to reclaim your clothing until the 12 month selling period has ended.

  14. We reserve the right to contact you, to request an extension of selling period if we feel your item has further potential to sell.

  15. You will receive a remittance every 6 months. Money will be sent via bank transfer within 10 working days to the bank details provided by yourself.

  16. Unless otherwise advised, all money owed will be paid into the most recent bank details provided.

  17. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.          

  18. The price of your items are subject to change without notice at any time at our discretion.

  19. When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

  20. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.                                                                                                                                                  

Buying with Us

Throughout these terms and conditions “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Lacie Mai’s.

Throughout these terms and conditions “you” and “your” refers to customer buying the items for sale.

  1. Orders will not be dispatched until full payment has been received by us.

  2. All orders will be sent Second Class Royal Mail via Royal Mail.

  3. Collection of orders can be arranged via pre-arranged appointment from Southampton free of charge.

  4. Expected delivery times are within 2-3 working days after dispatch.

  5. In the unlikely event there is an issue with your purchase, please contact us within 5 working days of receipt of order.

  6. Any shipping costs incurred when returning a product will be your responsibility. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please retain a proof of postage receipt when returning any items, we cannot be held responsible for items that are not received back to us.

  7. Due to the nature of our business, we are unable to provide exchanges.

  8. Once an order has been placed and purchased. We are unable to cancel orders.

  9. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
